Exams and Consultations

Any time you schedule an appointment, our wonderfully talented doctors will discuss your pet with you, treating whatever issue and placing particular emphasis on the physical well-being of your furry friend. Our goal is to catch any issues before that become major ones. The sooner we can treat a problem, the better your pet will recover fully! When you make your appointment, please let us know your concerns.

Nutritional Counseling

Obesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to over-feed a pet that knows how to beg. But being overweight is a serious problem for animals and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.

Pet’s nutritional needs change as they enter different stages of their lives. The best way to make sure your pet’s needs are being met is to consult with us about a diet made specifically for their lifestyle.

Digital X-Rays

With the advances in digital x-ray technology, we can now manipulate the digital images that we take off a pet’s systems to see what is wrong. This has allowed us to detect things like hairline fractures and orthopedic conditions that were previously not visible. We share these digital images with specialists who consult with us on difficult cases.

Surgery

Our doctors are highly trained and experienced surgeons. The decision for your pet to have surgery is not to be taken lightly, and we want to assure you that your pet’s health is our highest priority. Before all our surgeries, we run pre-anesthetic bloodwork on our patients to ensure their internal function is optimum. Our doctors give their all, whether it is a routine neuter, spay procedure, or a more complex case, such as amputation. Surgical procedures our doctors can perform include, but are not limited to:

  • Routine and Specialized Alterations (Spay and Neuter)
  • Amputation
  • Gastropexy
  • Enucleation
  • Episioplasty
  • Hematoma Repair
  • Cystotomy, and more!

We also collaborate with several specialists in the area and can refer to them for more advanced procedures.

Dental Care

Dental care is one of the essential steps in keeping your pet healthy and reducing the chance of future complications. We are happy to offer a full-service dental experience to keep your pet’s mouth healthy and fresh:

  • Complete dental prophylaxis
  • Scaling and polishing
  • Dental X-rays
  • Extractions
  • Training and education for at-home dental care

Preventative Care and Vaccinations

Regular check-ups allow us to establish a baseline for your pet’s health. We highly recommend that your pet have a yearly exam, even if they appear healthy. Often health problems that go undetected can become more severe if left untreated.

Proper vaccination is vital in protecting your pets from many susceptible illnesses. Certain vaccines may only be administered by a licensed veterinarian. We will happily provide you with information on your pet’s suggested and required vaccinations during their exam.

Microchipping

Every year, thousands of pets go missing. Not knowing where your pet is or how to bring them home can be helpless and hopeless. Unfortunately, this tragedy happens all too often. To help get furry friends where they belong, we proudly offer microchipping services to our clients.

Boarding

Boarding is a service we offer where pets stay at a facility while their owners are away. We make sure that our boarding facility provides care ensuring the pet’s needs are met in a safe and comfortable environment.

Diagnostics

Our hospital provides an array of in-house diagnostic testing with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Cytology
  • Panels of Bloodwork
  • Urinalysis
  • Digital Radiographs
  • Ultrasound Imaging

Pet Acupuncture

Acupuncture is best utilized as a part of an overall program of health that makes use of appropriate diet, herbal medicine, Western medicine, exercise, and if appropriate, massage therapy. These should be discussed with your veterinarian. The intention is to work in conjunction with your regular veterinarian to achieve the very best results for your pet.

Pet Baths

Our experienced team understands the unique needs of dogs and cats, and we tailor each bathing session to cater to their individual requirements. Our bathing facilities provide a calming and comfortable environment, promoting a stress-free experience for your pets.

Senior Pet Care

If your pet seems to be slowing down, they may be experiencing the often-uncomfortable side effects of aging. In many instances, they suffer from degenerative joint diseases that cause pain and limit mobility. For this reason, it is extremely important to bring your senior pet in for routine exams. Whether your pet is in need of pain management or treatment for an underlying disease, we can provide the care your pet needs in order to live out his or her golden years in comfort.

Our friendly staff is passionate about delivering high-quality care and will do whatever it takes to ensure your companion’s comfort.

Allergy Testing

Does your pet suffer from chronic allergies? Does it seem like you have tried it all? Ask our doctors if an allergy test is right for your pet! We are happy to offer this service to our clients. The allergy test requires a blood draw and tests against 91 of the most common allergens. The results are sent to the clinic with a treatment diary and plan. You can always ask our staff about this test!

Ultrasound

Ultrasonography is a type of diagnostic technique that uses ultrasound waves to produce an imaging study. This means that when we perform ultrasonography, we can see internal images of the patient’s body. Unlike some other imaging studies, like x-rays, ultrasonography does not use radiation. Instead, ultrasonography uses high-frequency sound (ultrasound) waves to create a picture of what is inside your pet’s body. Ultrasonography is a completely non-invasive, painless way to diagnose and evaluate many common diseases.

Pharmacy

We offer a fully stocked pharmacy to fill your pet’s prescription needs. An on-site pharmacy provides a more convenient way to get your pet’s medication. We hope this will save you time and enhance your experience with us.
